I knew this was gold plated when I bought it fyi. But still, it's such a beautiful piece but shame it is gold plated. Overall, good quality.

I have been searching for earrings like this forever so I was so excited when I found these while visiting the Camden market in the spring. Shortly after wearing them, the hinges on the hoops came loose and would not remain clasped. I’m from the United States, so I was unable to take them back to get looked at, and the cost of shipping them back to get a refund was just going to put me out even more money. So I emailed the brand and asked for help. After explaining how I was from a different country and would rather keep the earrings than pay more to ship them back and get a refund, I was given instructions on how to tighten the clasps myself. I did so, and it lasted for a few months with no issue. At some point, the hinge became loose again and unclasped, causing the hoop to fall out without me noticing. Devastated, I decided to reorder the hoops hoping that maybe the pair I got was just defective and I wouldn’t have this issue with a new set. wrong. I ordered a pair for myself, and another for my coworker who always complements these earrings and when I received them, all four of the hoops had a loose clasp and would not stay closed no matter what I did. I gently tried to use jewelry pliers to tighten the clasps as I was instructed back in the spring, but nothing has worked. I decided to only wear the hoops on special occasions so that there was less risk of losing one again. The first time I wore my pair, the hoop completely detached and broke off from the hinge when I was clasping it, leaving me with no possible way to repair the earring myself (photo below). I am very disappointed in the quality of this product and would not recommend. I wanted to love these and I did, but after experiencing the same issue with the hinges two separate times with SIX individual hoops, I would advise against spending your money on these.
